Reopening Guidance for Non-Food Retail Stores & Warehouses

Following the Coronavirus-related closure of all non-essential premises on 23 March, many businesses are starting to consider what social distancing measures they will need to implement to protect their staff and customers when they are able to reopen.

To assist non-food retail stores & warehouses, the British Retail Consortium (BRC) has produced recommendations which will help them facilitate the introduction of social distancing.  These recommendations cover two areas:

  • Warehouse and Distribution Settings
  • Re-opening of other Retail Premises
