Care Homes - Employee Helpline / Counselling Services

By Aston Lark

We recognise the increased pressure and stress that COVID-19 is placing on carers working with vulnerable residents, and also on service providers who are struggling to source food and medical supplies and are facing staff shortages due to self-isolation and therefore increasingly dependent on agency staff.

The Care Industry as a whole is faced with a number of litigation exposures and legal disputes. If you want more information on Care Legal Solutions, please click here.

At Aston Lark, we have a dedicated Care team who strive to support care home owners and carers, and have a number of resources available to help you through this very challenging time:

ARAG legal policyholders – Employee Helpline and Counselling Service

All ARAG legal policyholders have access to the confidential employee helpline and counselling service. This helpline and counselling service also extends to employees’ family members who reside with them.

Full details of the ARAG counselling service can be found here.

Please click here for further information regarding mental health during COVID-19.

If you do not currently have an ARAG legal policy and are interested in a quote, please contact Adam Packham on 01622 528141, or Wendy Hooke on 01622 528142.

Aston Lark Employee Benefits

Our clients can also benefit from some of the other support packages we offer.

During these uncertain and difficult times, one way of us providing support is with an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This is an employee benefit that provides support for personal and work-related issues. With an EAP, your employees’ home and work-life problems can be addressed by trained counsellors and advisors in complete confidence, over the phone and online 24/7, 365 days a year.

The Aston Lark Employee Benefits team prides itself on providing a quality personal service with an honest, loyal and professional approach. By drawing on a wealth of experience and technical knowledge, we ensure that our clients receive the specialised and comprehensive advice that they need. Working closely with you to gain a full understanding of your business, we will plan and implement a suitable benefits package that aligns with both your budget and staff profile.

For more information on Employee Assistance Programmes, please contact Faye Kavanagh on 01622 691692.
