Road to Recovery: Back on Track

1. Instructions on how to enter the Road to Recovery: Back on Track competition (“the Competition”) and details regarding the Competition contained herein form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into and participation in this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Competition is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, competition or promotion by Aston Lark.

2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.

3. The Competition is free to enter.

4. The following criteria needs to be met to enter the Competition:

  1. SME businesses with turnover between £150k – £2.5m
  2. 2-50 employees
  3. UK registered businesses only
  4. Must have registered your business before 1st February 2020

5. The Competition commences at 09:00 BST on 16th August 2021 (“the Commencement Date”) and closes at 17:00 BST on 1st October 2021 (the “Closing Date”). The period between the Commencement Date and the Closing Date shall be the “Competition Entry Period”.

6. To participate in the Competition, entrants must submit their entry via the application form online at astonlark.com/backontrack

7. By entering the Competition, you agree for Aston Lark to use parts of your application that do not contain confidential and sensitive information on their marketing channels for marketing purposes.

8. By entering this Competition, you agree for your data to be shared with Aston Lark’s selected judges for the sole purposes of judging. It will not be used for any third-party marketing purposes.

9. Aston Lark collects personal information of the entrants in order to conduct the Competition and the entrant must consent to the use of their personal information for the purposes of the Competition.

10. Aston Lark reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if Aston Lark has reasonable grounds to believe that an entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions or has tampered with the Competition process. Failure by Aston Lark to enforce any of its rights at any stage of the Competition does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

11. The costs of entering the Competition shall be borne solely by the entrant only.

12. The first round of applications will be judged individually by a selection of independent judges to determine the shortlisted finalists.

13. The shortlisted finalists will be asked to participate in a zoom interview with a panel of judges before the winner is selected.

14. The shortlisted finalists and winner agrees to participate in reasonable post-competition publicity for Aston Lark at Aston Lark’s expense, including but not limited to their attendance for interviews, photographs, videos and any other promotional activity specified by Aston Lark, and any other information regarding the winner deemed appropriate for use by Aston Lark for any promotional and marketing purposes by Aston Lark for a period of one (1) year from the Closing Date.

15. The prize for the winner is £20,000 cash paid via bank transfer by Aston Lark to the winner’s company bank account. But the decision is final and the judges reserve the right to divide the prize fund across more than one entry.

16. Aston Lark may carry out background checks before making payment to the winner. The cash grant will be paid subject to these background checks.

17. If you are not an Aston Lark client, we will give you up to £200 off your first year’s insurance premium (for business insurance arranged by Aston Lark). This offer will be valid for one year from the competition entry date.

18. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

19. Aston Lark hereby reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the Competition, or to change these terms and conditions, by notice on the Aston Lark website. Aston Lark shall not be required to specify any reasons for the changes and shall not incur any liability as a result.
